In Western culture, phrases like “career”, “promotion”, “new client”, “bonus” and “achievement” might conjure up the colors of modern currency: green, gold and silver.
But, in the practice of Feng Shui, abundance energy is associated with the colors black and blue. Why is this? Well, because in Feng Shui, abundance is embodied in the element of water: yin, receptive, moving, and deep.
Water moves in the path of least resistance, representing the Feng Shui flow concept of Wu Wei: being carried passively by the invisible, moving waters of fate and serendipity. Water is also the primordial source of all life, representing the proverbial watering hole we seek out for sustenance.
To be abundant and professionally successful within this framework, we need to reconfigure our energy bodies— and our spaces— to be receiving vessels. And there’s no better way to do this than to pay special attention to the area of your home known as the Career Bagua.
