2024 is here, and in just a few weeks the Year of the Wood Dragon will bring more invigorating winds of change. While we’ll be writing about the Wood Dragon— and what to expect from his awesome energy— in a later post, let’s just say that the winds of change are here in a big way.

New Service: TOTEM I Ching Reading

In the spirit of the Year of the Dragon— and in support of our new Feng Shui offering— TOTEM has just launched our newest service: TOTEM I Ching Readings.

I have loved the I Ching for many, many decades, going so far as to get one of the I Ching hexagrams tattooed on my left wrist (inviting all manner of barcode jokes from dorky middle managers in my former corporate office). If you’ve ever seen (or read) His Dark Materials, you might remember that a main character uses the I Ching to navigate other worlds and dimensions, ultimately saving our own.

So, yah— the I Ching is pretty cool.

The I Ching, also called The Book of Changes, contains 64 hexagrams— symbols made of two trigrams, one on top of the other— all of which represent various elemental forces and, subsequently, spiritual insights. While considered the “oldest book in the world”, documented to be at least 3,000 years old, the I Ching functions a bit like if Tarot and the Runes had a baby obsessed with the forces of nature and Feng Shui.

In an I Ching session, I’ll be using a tailor-made set of I Ching coins (made of wood, in honor of this year’s element) to take a look at the elemental forces, influences, landscapes and other factors coming into play for clients in the near future. I Ching is great at answering the big picture questions: How can you position yourself for greatness? Secure your small business? Find a romantic partner? Focus on your health? Will there be helpful people to assist you along the way?

A TOTEM I Ching Session is ideal for new and existing clients alike, offering a super pragmatic and actionable offering that grounds predictive powers into our reality— and our modern world. New Service: TOTEM Feng Shui Session

The Year of the Dragon has also inspired the launch of another new service: TOTEM Feng Shui Consultations! We wrote about the launch of this new service on Substack HERE, and will be adding Feng Shui-centric posts to Substack throughout this year— so stay tuned!

Expanded Hours And In-Person Availability

Since the growth of the Spiritual Transformation Coaching Program, my daily availability for one-on-one readings has been a bit squeezed, making it tough for some folks to grab a coveted Saturday spot. So, I’ve decided to expand our working hours, offering evening appointments every Tuesday (until 7 PM CST) for those folks with 9-5 jobs and weekend commitments.

This expanded Tuesday availability applies to all services, so if you’ve been looking for a evening session when you’re home from work, just click on the booking link on our website HERE and take a look!
