I just got back from my annual spiritual pilgrimage to New Orleans and, as per usual, it didn’t disappoint.
Ahead of leaving for the ATX airport, I pulled a card from our TOTEM Flower Essence Deck, hoping to get a little insight into the events to come on my journey. Surprisingly (at the time), I pulled the Underworld card, representing the flower Hellebore— as well as the TOTEM Flower Essence of the same name. This card pull— and the subsequent trip to New Orleans— seemed to usher in a time of ancestral connection, work with plant medicines and nature spirits, and the healing magic of Shamanism’s elusive Lower World.
