Respectfully, hold the line. Such simple, solid business advice.

I have been terrible at this, I will let many overstep the line and I will too often respond, and invest my energy without any formalities. AND IT IS ALWAYS A MISTAKE!

Well then: let's make an appointment, or leave a message.

I love this for you, AJ! In a "normal" world, I don't think sharing our energy, time or insights would be such a BFD...but "we're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy"-- are we? So, adjustment time. Which I hate, because I'm rigid. Also: I'm a Pig in the Chinese Zodiac, and Pigs are "here for a good time-- not for a long time", so all of this *adulting* and adjusting bums us out. What happened to Happy Hour, man?

If only we could still get lax, buzzed, chat, and enjoy the stupid happy hour 😆

This year, so far, has felt like an endless loop of Indiana Jones' The Last Crusade Leap of Faith scenes: the build up feels like a heart attack, but the moment after stepping out (half "Look at me I have so much faith" and half "fuck it, maybe this is the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯") and the movie magic is gone, the hindsight 20/20 illusion is so basic, "even a child could see that." Until, the next day and the next bridge and it starts all over again.

Lots of sage advice here, Rachel. Thank you. Serpents gonna serpent. As long as it trends upward, why obsess over its undulations?

Yes! And even if it doesn’t trend upwards this Year of the Wood Snake, what other improvements or adjustments can be made to help us leap frog in the Year of the Fire Horse (2026) and after? Success, progress, “wealth” can look different depending on our environment— and our mindset!
