Thank you, Kailey! He really turned around earlier today, and we got a partial refund. And a new vet. So, back to nervous system recovery...which is now the full-time gig in this Wood Snake Year.

No-- I think, out of fear and incompetence, they over-sedated him and literally almost killed him. Have a "meeting" with the manager today. If folks are afraid of big dogs (even sweet ones with no bite or aggression history) they probably shouldn't go into medical care for animals. Worst medical experience (human, animal or otherwise) and that's saying something. Good thing Bees Knees and The Sun Card are here to pull us out of our nosedive!
Thank you— he’s doing MUCH better. We were up with him all night because he couldn’t stand and every time he tried to drink water he threw it up. It was a bit like having a newborn baby…that’s 100 pounds big! I’m optimistic, but my nervous system (and Gus’ nervous system) would like to request some paid time off from the universe;)
This is terrible! Nothing worse than getting lackluster care for your fur-baby. I would be seeing stars. Sending you and Gus love and light! This reading landed of course! Thank you for what you do. Wild week for sure 😵💫.
He's totally better, Karen-- thank you! And I just had a very productive meeting with the vet practice manager, which is nice. Ugh. It's been a few days...and it's already been a long year!
Thank you— he’s doing SO MUCH BETTER. Started to really turn the corner around 10 AM. I honestly think they were afraid and incompetent and got him pretty close to an OD. He’s been given a sedative before, so this was just a WILD experience in comparison. Wish the dude at the vet luck with me this afternoon— he’s already received my detailed timeline and feedback in writing. Some things you learn in corporate never leave you…like how to track a Performance Improvement Plan;)
Thank you! Momma Bear is on the case…and his dad is mighty angry. He seems to be much better now and I’ve certainly learned to never ever trust him with a new vet without meeting and talking extensively first.
