She talks about making the mental shift from "when is it going to get easier" to "becoming someone that handles hard well" not in sport, but life in general. Meaningful pursuit in life will never be easy. Something I continue to remind myself especially when shit hits the fan and like you've said to just laugh at it all 😅.
