As we’ve written about HERE, HERE and HERE, this Wood Snake Year is certainly living up to its promise— and we’re all feeling the effects just a few short months in!
So, I decided it was high time to tap the incredible community of clients, collaborators and friends around our work here at TOTEM and The Skeptical Shaman podcast to bring all of us short, snackable, and human-scaled tips and tricks to stay sane in this Wood Snake Year!
In this video, I chat with Madia Smith of
about her tremendous tapping techniques to help us remediate nervous system trauma and damage, as well as the “even though” phrases we can use to imprint shifts in our thinking— and our bodies! In addition to being an overall lovely person (with an incredibly unique sense of style!), Madia also works hands-on with nature via her Hoof + Feather tree pruning business— and her own, working farm filled with fowl of all kinds. She is also co-hosting (along with a few other incredible ladies) a dynamic, online workshop in the coming month that you can sign up to learn more about HERE.
This workshop will leverage Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Human Design, Somatics, and Psychology to help folks navigate the transition from interdependence to independence, as augered by the Human Design experts!
